Board - Join
As a Racial Justice Institute Board of Director, I agree to the following:
- Serve a minimum of one (1) two-year (2) term on the Board. Eligible to serve a second term if reelected.
- Attend a minimum of three (3) virtual board meetings and one (1) in-person meeting annually.
- Make a serious commitment to actively participate in board initiatives.
- Remain informed on board matters, is prepared for meetings, willing to provide recommendations, and provide leadership.
- Build a collegial working relationship with other board members and internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in the institute’s planning and evaluation activities.
- Engage in soliciting funds, membership, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives of the board or the institute.
- Contribute $7,500 to the institute each year.
- Provide innovative ideas and strategic solutions.
